The Season of Creation embraces the four Sundays of September and concludes with the Feast of St Francis of Assisi. Office for Social Justice staff will be speaking at the Caritas Catholic Earthcare program’s Convocation 2020.

Mental ill-health symptoms often emerge during adolescence. Eamon is a school principal and is conducting doctoral research in this area.

Housing First for Mental Health
Sr Myree Harris rsj OAM talks about homelessness, mental ill-health and disability. She is the Coordinator of the Gethsemane Community which provides secure housing in a family-like setting for people with mental ill-health and intellectual disability who have been homeless. Myree was part of the working group that prepared the 'Do Not be Afraid' Mental Illness and Outreach Guidelines for Parishes.

International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons - 26 September
Please join us in praying for nuclear disarmament and urging the Australian Government to sign and ratify the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, which is yet to enter into force. While Australia has not signed or ratified the treaty, the Holy See was one of the first nation states to sign and ratify the treaty.
