Social Justice Statement 2022-23: Released 3 August

The Social Justice Statement 2022-23, Respect: Confronting Violence and Abuse, focuses on family violence and will be released on 3 August ahead of Social Justice Sunday on 28 August. A landing page for the site has been created which will house all of the resources available. As well as the statement, a prayer and action card, audio-visual material and promotional video will be loaded onto the site, available for all to use. Liturgy notes and promotional images are now available.

Gathering for Statement Moved Later in the Year

Traditionally, to celebrate the release of the Social Justice Statement, a national gathering is held ahead of Social Justice Sunday. This will be moved to later in the year to ensure our new director - once appointed - can organise and shape this event. As per usual, the statement and resources will be made available and delivered before Social Justice Sunday for parishes and schools to use in their celebrations. We will provide the new date and details for the national gathering once confirmed.
