Across the country, coordinators, teachers, advocates and volunteers will make the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference Social Justice Statement come alive in their communities. Face-to-face or online launches are being planned to break open the message and respond to the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor.
Archdiocese of Brisbane
The Archdiocese of Brisbane will hold a face-to-face launch with Bishop Ken Howell, Auxiliary Bishop of Brisbane and guest speaker, Dr Maeve Heaney, ACU Brisbane.
Held on Wednesday 25 August 2021 at St James’ Parish Hall, Coorparoo, the event will start at 7:30pm.

The Archdiocese of Perth’s Justice, Ecology and Development office is holding a launch on the Statement on Thursday the 19th of August at 10am.

The Diocese of Parramatta are holding a schools launch on the 13th of October where Bishop Vincent will speak with students who will then discuss the statement and makes plans for how they can live this out in their school environments.
