Easter Reflections
The Chair of the Bishops Commission for Social Justice, Mission and Service, Bishop Vincent Long, offers us an Easter reflection on an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.
The Australian Catholic Council for Employment Relations recently made a submission to the annual minimum wage case. It recommended a wage increase of 7.2% for Australia’s lowest-paid workers. We look at some of the key points in the submission.
More information is provided on an exciting online course for those interested in developing their skills to be more faithful and effective in their social, peace and environmental action. The free course starts on June 27 and numbers are limited.
Laudato Si’ Week in Australia will be celebrated between May 16 and May 24. The Office will soon issue resources to help you to celebrate Laudato Si’ Week. We also provide information on a Laudato Si’ Week online convocation offered by Jesuit Ignatian Spirituality Australia.
