Laudato Si’ Action Platform

Laudato Si’ Week, a celebration of Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’ and a call to action for Catholics around the world, is being celebrated 16-24 May, 2022. We have created new resources for parishes, schools, organisations and individuals to use throughout this time. They include:

  • Images perfect for use in reflections, bulletins, presentations, and social media
  • Daily reflection and action sheets for personal or group use

Scroll down to see all resources. This page will be updated over time as more resources become available.

Notices and PowerPoints

Here are images, quotes and actions that can be helpful to spread the word about Laudato Si’ Week or in our prayers, announcements, newsletters, presentations and group sessions. Square images are also great to share on social media through Facebook or Instagram. There are multiple images for each day and you can use all or pick your favourites.

Please see below for examples.

Rectangle images work well for Twitter and presentation slides.

Reflection and Action Sheets

Throughout Laudato Si’ Week, you and your community are encouraged to join us in reflecting and acting to bring Laudato Si’ to life.

We have created 9 reflection sheets containing reflection, prayer and action ideas for the head, heart and hands. You can use them each day, or select the sheet that is most relevant to your context or to the Laudato Si’ Goal that you are focusing on. We hope that the action ideas might stimulate your thinking about what can be done in your context, so feel free to adapt them and to think of more you can do and let yourself be moved by the Spirit.
